..what happened to May!!...?

...it's June already!...
what happens to all the time?

...well, Tom and Henry are getting out and about, they're a picture of gleaming health and getting fitter (and faster).

We're doing lots of trotting on fields and farmers tracks (not roads to minimise concussion), and transitions because it's fittening.

...after my vet told me Tom could lose some weight, and the painful stab to the heart I felt at letting him get this way because I love him so much had abated (some), his girth is already easier to get done up.   Soon, I'll need to go back to the smaller one!!

Yey us!!! ....and doubled-up small-holed haynets!!!

...the paddocks are green and flourishing, the hedgerow I just planted is growing fast and they love to prune the tips of the growing shoots.

...so, in short, all good here..

...aw, them 'orses....

...for the love of Tom & Henry...
...more photo-journal stuff, and how Tom really is slimming down for the beach, and nearly a year after his accident, where he had 37 stitches in his shoulder, he's recovered just fine xxx

...easter...

...a bank holiday to remember...
....amazing weather, great riding.  Exclusive access to open fields - recently tilled, soft and perfect surface for hooves.

The floor of the woods covered in a blanket of bluebells...Tom being a great horse as usual, Henry being Henry (as usual).

Fittening trotting and transitional work.

...then Monday....a day off in the pasture...

...photography...

...sunrise & sunset...
An iphone is such a great device, not only can I 'face-time' Mother from the yard, have a helping hand in case I need to contact anyone horse-related, but it means a photo taking instrument is in my hand  - a lot!

Tom & Henry don't shy for the paparazzi thats me, so there's thousands - and I'm not kidding, thousands of photos of them.

This week I've been lucky enough to be doing the horses at sun up and sun down - this makes for some very beautiful photos - enjoy!
